A Beach Hut with History
Summer Haze has a long history on Mudeford Sandbank, offering a cherished seaside escape for many visitors over the years. The original hut stood as a quiet retreat where families and friends could gather, soak in the coastal views, and enjoy the simple pleasures of beachside living. When it was time for a rebuild, we knew we wanted to stay true to its character while making thoughtful improvements. Keeping the signature yellow colour, we designed a custom-built replacement that preserves the charm of the original while upgrading key areas for modern comfort. Our goal was to respect its history while ensuring that future guests could continue to enjoy the magic of Summer Haze for many years to come.

Our new beach hut has been carefully designed with better materials, a more functional layout, and enhanced durability to withstand the coastal elements. While the spirit of the original remains, we made improvements that enhance the experience of staying here. A more efficient use of space means there’s extra room to relax, whether inside or out. The upgraded kitchen makes preparing meals even easier, and the well-thought-out sleeping arrangements ensure a restful night’s sleep. We kept the simple, relaxing feel of a traditional beach hut but added small details to improve the experience - ensuring it remains a welcoming retreat for years to come. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or an extended seaside retreat, every aspect of Summer Haze has been designed with comfort in mind.
